Corrin Maestas- Owner of Desert Moon Esthetics 

I started my training with Aveda Institute of New Mexico, then becoming a licensed esthetician, and pursued my eyelash career. I worked in a beauty salon for 5 years and then eventually ventured out on my own, opening "Desert Moon Esthetics" in 2021. 

What I love most about being an esthetician, is being able to help women/men of all ages, feel beautiful in their own skin. I love to work with people, heal others, and educate my clients. The energy and excitement, once a service is done, is truly amazing. Its one of  the most rewarding and emotional professions, I have ever been in. 

A little bit about me: 

I am happily marred to my amazing husband of 7 years, but we have been together for 16  years. Yes, Time Flies! My favorite hobbies are participating in rodeos, going to the lake, camping, concerts, traveling, and spending time with my family. 

I have my Bachelors Degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology, with also an Associates degree in Criminology. I know, we are all wondering how did I end up in this profession? Long story short, I was tired of working in the corporate world and wanted to work for myself. I grew up in a family where both of my parents owned their own business and I seen their hustle, drive, and dedication. So I told myself, I can do this, I want to own my own business and offer eyelash services.

So after 8 years of hard work, inspiration, and the dedication... I MADE IT! I am living my DREAM and "Desert Moon" has became my world.
